LOCO BC is introducing the Quick Impact Assessment in partnership with the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE) and B-Lab, the organization behind BCorp. BCorp is a sustainable business certification used by increasing numbers of businesses in North America. The Quick Impact Assessment is a free online tool to help you ‘measure what matters’ for creating local economic impact.
The Quick Impact Assessment (QIA) is a short, custom version of B-Lab’s Business Impact Assessment (BIA), with an emphasis on Localism and practices that support healthy, sustainable communities backed by strong, resilient local economies. The QIA is designed to help businesses measure and improve their impact on their communities, and to help LOCO gain insights into the ecosystem of businesses that we support.
Get started in 3 easy steps:
- Get a Baseline: Assess how your company performs against dozens of best practices on employee, community, and environmental impact.
- Compare Your Impact: Assess how your company stacks up against thousands of other businesses through the Quick impact Snapshot.
- Improve Your Impact: Create a plan to improve your company’s practices, and help your staff implement them easily with B-Lab’s best Practices Guides and Examples.
We estimate that the assessment will take 30 minutes. If you need to, you can save it and come back to it later .
