Every town is RTOWN. I love diversity, personal service and authentic relationships that come in abundance with neighbors committed to supporting one another.
The One Piece of Advice You’d Give Other Local Businesses Is….
The power is back in the hands of consumers and we live in the age of scalable word of mouth thanks to the internet. How your business gets found and presented online is vital to your success. Advertising is dead; authentic engagement, your on-line reputation and the real relationships you form on-line can build your business faster than ever before in today’s digital age. If you don’t have the time nor the money to hire internally, RTOWN can do it for you.
What’s The Most Important Business Lesson You’ve Learned?
As a business leader, your most important decisions aren’t ‘what’ decisions but ‘who’ decisions. Hire based on shared values. And fire when values are violated.

Too Many Trips, Calls, Meetings, Emails, Tweets...What's Your Favorite Escape?
I’ve traveled over 60 countries in my life. I love to find new places that totally shock me into understanding how infinitesimally narrow my perspective was before the experience.
How Does Your Business Work To Better Our World?
We take the pain of learning digital marketing off of the hands of hundreds, eventually thousands of business owners. We allow business owners and entrepreneurs the freedom to focus on their core strengths while we take the internet and mobile devices and put them to work for their business.
Why Is Local Important To You?
I believe we are suffering from too much being in the hands of too few. I believe that by supporting local businesses we are driving more of the economic “pie” away from the “few” and into the hands of the “many”. How capitalism was supposed to work when it was first dreamed up.
How Do You Support Other Local Businesses?
I mentor young entrepreneurs (high school students) in a program called The Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) in Vancouver. The future of local business success starts with helping teach our youth more practical and useful tools than they can ever get through the public school system. TYE solves this with an eight month program ~50 new high school students go through every year.
