The retail sector has always appealed to my passion for trends and an ever changing work day. Being my own boss was something I knew I wanted from a young age. I love being able to control my work environment.

What's Your Neigbourhood And Why Do You Love It?
LaLa’s has 2 neighbourhoods, Deep Cove North Van., and Commercial Drive. Both are family oriented and love supporting locally owned and operated businesses. Deep Cove offers a tranquil nature filled community and The Drive is an urban cornucopia which is perfect for my city girl meets tree hugger personality.
The One Piece of Advice You’d Give Other Local Businesses Is….
Ensure you are genuinely engaged and involved with your neighbourhood. Get to know the other merchants in your trading area and refer your customers to their businesses. Keep your community dollars in your community.

Local is important because when I see someone I’m doing business with they are more than a customer, they are a friend and neighbour.
How Do You Support Other Local Businesses?
We always suggest where our current shoppers can find what they need in the local market if LaLa’s does not have it. Oh, and by spending my personal dollars on products and services that are local. LaLa’s, staff and myself donate both time and money to our local charities.
