Rain City Strategies

What’s your business?

We connect people with First Nation communities to develop innovative projects in clean technology, green energy and social venture that provide sustaining and positive returns.

Why Vancouver?

It is our home and we love it here. Gastown is the perfect mixture of old and new, representing and supporting people from every part of society and culture.

Why did you start your business?

We wanted to build a nimble and benefit based business that supports our passions – First Nations, social ventures, technology and sustainability.

What’s the plan for your business for the next 5 days, 5 months, 5 years?

5 Days – Become a B Corp.
5 Months – Move into our shared office space at the HIVE
5 years – Enter operations abroad to connect and develop an indigenous to indigenous business network.

The one piece of advice you’d give other local businesses is….

Stay nimble and keep your burn low. No need for fancy anything – just get the job done and pass on your success to others – it breeds their success and yours even more.
